Snapchat, the red-hot communications app, has has combined with the Bitmoji app, to bring personalized emojis into your Snapchat photos and chats.

A Bitmoji is an app that allows you to create and personalize an avatar and use it like you would an emoji. Users are able to use the customizable personal emojis in their chats and place them in their snaps. Bitmojis are popularly used in text messages and on Facebook Messenger.

Users can link their personalized Bitmoji with Snapchat to put themselves into their snaps.

In a news release Tuesday, Snapchat said it now has 150 million daily users, who watch over 10 billion views daily.

Snapchat acquired Bitstrips in March, the company behind Bitmoji, for around $100 million, but neither Snapchat nor Bitstrips CEO, Jacob "Ba" Blackstock commented.

To place your Bitmoji into your Snaps, go to the ghost at the top of your Snapchat screen. Go to settings by clicking on the wheel in the right hand corner, click "Bitmoji," and then "Link Bitmoji."

If you don't have a Bitmoji then simply download the Bitmoji app and create a Bitmoji. Users have the option of creating one specifically for Snapchat or a general one that can be used across other apps.

Snapchat also gives the user the ability to do "Friendmoji" which allows two users who both have their Bitmojis linked to Snapchat to have Bitmojis together.

"Friendmojis" in Snapchat allows users to put their Bitmojis together.
