Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel try more counseling

Forging a friendship takes work — especially if you're sworn enemies Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel.

On Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host shared video from the adversaries' latest attempt at counseling.

"As you may know, the "actor" (finger quotes included) Matt Damon and I have issues," Kimmel told his audience while introducing the clip. "We do not have a good relationship, and he's been particularly difficult lately because he's got a big movie coming out on Friday. So, we went to see a professional to try to work our problems out like adults."

Warning: This clip is NSFW. Your boss will not like these apples.

With a pile of pillows between them, for Kimmel's protection (and to symbolize the giant wedge between them, obvs), the Jason Bourne star told the therapist his goal was to be on Kimmel's talk show. And not as a guest who has to be smuggled in under Ben Affleck's clothes. Which is progress because Kimmel revealed that incident left him feeling quite "Bat-trayed."

"It's always the next night's show," Damon vented. "I've never met somebody who's so horrible with time management."

In an attempt to make some headway, the therapist suggested the foes try art therapy and sketch their feelings about each other. Their drawings are too good to spoil and a little raunchy to put into words, so you'll have to watch the clip. But Damon's genuine laughter upon seeing Kimmel's artwork leads us to believe there may be lit Candelabra at the end of this tunnel.
