Warren Sapp suffered a nasty shark bite while lobstering in Florida

Former Buccaneers star Warren Sapp was bitten by shark on his forearm while lobstering on a trip to the Florida Keys on Wednesday.

Sapp was lobster fishing on a charter, and he grabbed hold of a lobster, which attracted the attention of a what was to believed to be a nurse shark.

The Tampa Bay Times (which put the gross photo on the top of the article) got in touch with charter captain Jack Carlson, who said that Sapp would be OK, and the shark was just going after the lobster.

He said:

“It’s simple. He was lobstering with me and a shark bit Sapp while he was grabbing the lobster. He’s OK.”

Carlson added that Sapp may need stitches, but the incident didn’t put an end to the lobstering trip.

“We bandaged it up, put some gauze on there, some black electrical tape and hit a couple more spots, then headed in.”

The charter also posted a photo of the bite on Instagram, which is linked below because it is so gross. Let me just emphasize again … DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SEE SOMETHING GROSS.
