Here's a round up of every trade made in Major League Baseball in the days leading up to the 2016 trade deadline on Aug. 1 (major players involved in bold):
Blue Jays add to rotation
Aug. 1: The Blue Jays bolstered their starting rotation, acquiring Francisco Liriano and two minor league prospects from the Pirates for pitcher Drew Hutchinson.
Rangers shift balance of AL power with deal for with Lucroy, Jeffress
Aug. 1: The Rangers acquired C Jonathan Lucroy and RHP Jeremy Jeffress from the Brewers for OF Lewis Brinson and RHP Luis Ortiz.

Aug. 1: The Cubs acquired RHP Joe Smith from the Angels for RHP Jesus Castillo.
Marlins send Rea back to Padres
Aug. 1: After Rea suffered an elbow injury in his first start with the Marlins, Miami shipped Colin Rea back to San Diego, with prospect Luis Castillo coming back from the Padres.
Orioles bring back Pearce
Aug. 1: The Orioles acquired INF/OF Steve Pearce from the Rays for C Jonah Heim.
Pirates add veteran starter
Aug. 1: The Pirates acquired RHP Ivan Nova from the Yankees for two players to be named.
Red Sox bolster bullpen
Aug. 1: Boston acquired left-handed reliever Fernando Abad from the Twins for minor league RHP Pat Light.
Dodgers land a bat and an arm
Aug. 1: The Dodgers acquired outfielder Josh Reddick and left-handed starter Rich Hill from the Athletics for for minor-league RHP Jharel Cotton, Grant Holmes and Frankie Montas.
Orioles, desperate for pitching, add veteran lefty
July 31: The Orioles acquired left-hander Wade Miley from the Mariners in exchange for minor league left-hander Ariel Miranda.
Yankees replenish bullpen with Clippard
July 31: Having traded two closers in the past week, the Yankees have also made a move to replenish some bullpen depth. The Yankees acquired reliever Tyler Clippard from the Diamondbacks for minor league pitcher Vicente Capmos.
Cardinals address bullpen needs with trade
July 31: The Cardinals added depth to the back half of their bullpen by acquiring veteran left-hander Zach Duke from the White Sox. In return, the Cardinals gave up minor league outfielder Charlie Tilson.
Indians acquire Miller from Yankees
July 31: In a win-now move with the American League race wide open, the Indians acquired reliever Andrew Miller, one of the game's most dominant relievers, from the Yankees. In exchange, the Yankees received minor league RHP J.P. Feyereisen, outfielder Clint Frazier, RHP Ben Heller and LHP Justus Sheffield.
Padres make another trade, ship Kemp to Braves
July 30: Outfielder Matt Kemp was traded to the Braves for outfielder Hector Olivera and cash. The deal basically saves the Padres millions.
Nationals get much-needed closer from Pirates
July 30: The Nationals, desperate for a closer, have acquired Pirates closer Mark Melancon. In exchange, the Pirates received left-handed pitcher Felipe Rivero and minor league pitcher Taylor Hearn.
Marlins acquire two starters from Padres
July 29: The Marlins acquired right-handers Andrew Cashner and Colin Rea and Tayron Guerrero. In exchange, the Padres received right-hander Jarred Cosart, injured reliever Carter Capps, who underwent Tommy John earlier this year, minor league prospect first baseman Josh Naylor and pitcher Luis Castillo.
Giants acquire All-Star infielder from Twins
July 28: Bullpen help remains the Giants’ priority as they approach the trade deadline. In the meantime, they’re happy to add infield depth. In an unexpected move, the National League West leaders acquired All-Star infielder Eduardo Nunez from the Twins for minor-league left-hander Adalberto Mejia.
Rangers get two pitchers from Braves
July 27: The Rangers acquired right-hander Lucas Harrell and left-hander Dario Alvarez from the Braves for minor league infielder Travis Demeritte.
Blue Jays acquire Melvin Upton from Padres
July 26: The Padres continued to be major sellers as the Aug.1 trade deadline nears. After trade talks broke down with the Orioles, the Padres sent outfielder Melvin Upton Jr. to the Blue Jays for minor league right-hander Hansel Rodriguez.
Cubs get championship look with addition of closer
July 25: The Cubs, trying to take control of the NL Central and strengthen their position World Series favorites, acquired Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman. The Cubs dealt right-handed pitcher Adam Warren, prized shortstop prospect Gleyber Torres, outfielders Billy McKinney, Rashad Crawford and major league pitcher Adam Warren.
Red Sox add left-hander to rotation
July 14: The Red Sox, determined that the future is now, acquired left-handed All-Star starter Drew Pomeranz from the Padres for top right-handed minor league prospect Anderson Espinoza,
