Nate Diaz made an appearance on Conan, and of course Conor McGregor had to show up, too. McGregor wasn’t there in person, but a video was played in which he trash-talked Diaz. The two will fight in a rematch on Aug. 20.

• Jab No. 1: “Sorry I couldn’t make the show this week, but as a present to you, I sent Nate in my place.”
• Jab No. 2: “Nate, I just hope he’s not up on that stage wearing that stupid black T-shirt that he’s never out of (Diaz pops collar of his black shirt). He’s been wearing that same damn T-shirt for the past 20 years or something.”
• Jab No. 3: “The boy won the lotto the last time. He knows it. I know it. Well, Aug. 20, I get my revenge, and I look forward to it.”

Diaz responded by saying, “The truth came out, and the truth will be Aug. 20 when it goes down again.”

Diaz beat McGregor the first time around by choking him out in the second round. McGregor said he has been training harder for the rematch.

We all know the war of words won’t let up until the two face-off.
