RNC late-night roundup: Watch Jon Stewart's final, legendary rant

The Republican National Convention wrapped last night with Donald Trump's big speech. But over on The Late Show's live episode last night, late-night TV got its own version of an RNC-defining monologue, courtesy of Jon Stewart.

Stephen Colbert kicked off the segment by bringing up the ouster of Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, accused of sexual harassment by female colleagues. "The news of this man losing his job gives me no pleasure," Colbert said. "If only there was someone I could share this lack of pleasure with."

Cue Stewart, crawling up from behind Colbert's hosting desk, who quickly dons a suit jacket and clip-on tie, kicks the host out, and delivers ten minutes of classic Daily Show ranting.

Colbert gets Stewart camera-ready.

Turns out, Stewart's appearance on The Late Show earlier this week was only an appetizer for this, where he takes on all the huge stories he missed out on covering in his months away from the hosting chair.

Stewart devotees, this clip is a must-watch.
