Eddie Murphy welcomes ninth child

Eddie Murphy is a dad again!

On Tuesday morning, Murphy, 55, and partner Paige Butcher, 36, welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

Her name? Izzy Oona Murphy.

"Both mother and daughter are doing well," Murphy's rep, Arnold Robinson, told USA TODAY in a statement. This is the ninth child for Murphy and the first for Butcher, an Australian model.

Murphy's oldest children are Eric, 26, with ex-girlfriend Paulette McNeely, and Christian, 25, with ex-girlfriend Tamara Hood. He and ex-wife Nicole Mitchell, who were married for 13 years and split in 2006, share five children, Bria, 25, Myles, 22, Shayne, 21, Zola, 15 and Bella, 13. Murphy and ex Mel B have a 9-year-old daughter, Angel.
