Rajon Rondo: Most of Kings skipped morning shootaround before Cavaliers game

The Sacramento Kings are (once again) an absolute mess.

Following a dispiriting blowout to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, Kings point guard Rajon Rondo told reporters he wasn’t surprised that the team lost considering only a few of them bothered to show up to an optional morning shootaround before the game.

Now, it’s important to note here again that the morning shootaround was optional, but if only a couple guys are showing up to get together before a game against the Eastern Conference’s best team, that’s a bad sign. The Kings have now lost four games in a row, and eight of their last nine.

I can’t imagine that Kings coach George Karl will be around much longer if the team is in this much disarray, but when it comes to the Kings, you really never know, do you?

UPDATE: I guess we do know.
