Selena Gomez hates dating just as much as we do
Dating is hard — whether you’re still waiting for your glo-up or you’re a goddess like Selena Gomez.
Yep, that’s right. The Good For You singer struggles with dating too, as she reveals in the January cover issue of InStyle UK:
“I hate it. It’s hard and I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened.”
Selena adds that she believes her baby face limits her romantic prospects…
“I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys.”
… so much so that the Hollywood rumor mill often links her to young whippersnappers like Zayn Malik (could be worse)...
“If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding.”
... as well as her on-again, off-again ex, Justin Bieber (worse).
“It's really hard because I'm a nice person. I'm just tired of talking about (my relationship with Justin Bieber). I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story.”
But Selena seems to be taking things in stride with help from bestie Taylor Swift.
“I'll be like, ‘I think I totally screwed up,’ but Taylor says, ‘Actually, you didn’t’ and shows me how to make my mistakes into something great.”
