Coach Pat Quinn, who died Sunday at 71, was a Canadian icon, helping his country end a 50-year drought by winning the 2002 Olympics.
He also coached the Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers, in addition to the Philadelphia Flyers and the Los Angeles Kings.
The first two teams will honor him with a special patch among other tributes.
The Canucks held a special presentation for Quinn prior to Tuesday night’s game.

Quinn led the Canucks to the 1994 Stanley Cup Final and the Leafs to the 1999 and 2002 Eastern Conference final.
Nice touch by the teams.
