Ferrari delivers its most 'radical' supercar yet
As Ferraris go, it's hard to get much more exclusive than the Sergio.
Only six of the these Pininfarina-designed beauties will be made, Ferrari says. The first one arrived in the United Arab Emirates, a patch of desert filled with the kind of people who can afford new Ferraris.
The car is meant for the track and is "loosely based" on the 458, according to Ferrari. It has a 605-horsepower engine that "guarantees" the car will rocket from zero to 62 mph in 3 seconds. It is named in honor of Sergio Pininfarina, 60 years after the two companies began their collaboration.
With its round taillights in back and triple coat of red paint, it is has plenty of Ferrari heritage. (But we're not big fans of those gold wheels.) No two are alike. Each was given personal touches by its owner. Ferrari calls it a "genuinely radical car" because of the degree in which it is devoted to performance.
