TV tonight: 'Flash,' 'DWTS,' 'NCIS: New Orleans'

'NCIS: New Orleans' gives us a 'Quantum Leap' reunion as Dean Stockwell, left, guests alongside Scott Bakula.

Dancing With the Stars

ABC, 8 ET/PT

The day has come, Stars seekers. Following an hour-long recap, someone will win a prize for being the person you most enjoyed seeing pushed and pulled around a stage by professionals while gamely taking a stab at a few basic dance moves under the watchful eye of the most obnoxious judging panel on television. Had So You Think You Can Dance been canceled, one might have felt forced to rail against the fates that allowed Stars to thrive while Dance tumbled — but as it was renewed let's just say "to each his own" and congratulate the winner.

The Flash
CW, 8 ET/PT

Here's good news for fans of the comic-book villain Tockman, otherwise known as the Clock King. He's pops up tonight on The Flash, once again played by Robert Knepper, who had the same role on Arrow. As for those of you who were fans of the late Walter Slezak's take on the part in the old Batman series, well, sorry, but there's no going back.

NCIS: New Orleans
CBS, 9 ET/PT

You can, however, sort of go back to Quantum Leap tonight, thanks to a New Orleans guest appearance by Scott Bakula's former co-star Dean Stockwell. He plays the father of Steven Weber's Councilman Hamilton — though whenever he and Bakula are together, many of us will still be seeing Al and Sam.
