This is a topic that has been on my mind for a long time. And I am not talking about clothing here, but about creating a world-class event, in which the best women and men compete together.

Yes, our tour is on the rise (significantly). Yes, we make better money every year. Yes, we are proud of how far we have come (Thank you commissioner Mike Whan). But. Why is there still such a huge gap between women's and men's golf? I could give you a few reasons, but none of them deter me from my dream of equality. You have to dream big to achieve change…otherwise things like Title IX would have never happened.

I liked the USGA's (United States Golf Association) move of having back to back US Open's in 2014. It got me excited that we are heading in the right direction – a road that tennis has taken a long time ago with magnificent results. Their grand slams are held at the same time, providing equal prize money and coverage for both men and women. But even after positive feedback from 2014, the USGA scheduled our US Opens at different times and locations for the future. Maybe they didn't like me spraying Martin Kaymer with water on the 18th? Bummer.

So why not create an event in which we compete together? I am going to say something bold, but – the only real difference is power (except for our few power-girls such as Brittany Lincicome and Lexi Thompson). There are no differences in short game and putting. So move us up the difference in distance our average Drive is from that of the PGA Tour. And we will compete. Hard.

Even Geoff Ogilvy suggested we have a tournament together. How cool of a fan experience would that be? Let's mix our bubbly, fan-friendly personalities of the LPGA with the cool elegance and power of the PGA Tour.

And then one day, maybe, the governing bodies of golf will reconsider moving our majors together, more old traditional clubs will accept women members and I get to have a match against Bubba Watson.

Cheers.
