Bill Murray talks about his teenage job as a caddy

Even though Bill Murray played a groundskeeper in the iconic 1980 comedy Caddyshack, the actor was no stranger to hauling golf bags around as a teenager in suburban Chicago.

Murray, now an avid golfer himself, talks with Ahmad Rashad about his early days as a caddy on the debut episode of Ahmad Rashad’s self-titled new interview show on the new Back9Network, which launches Monday on DirecTV.

Back9Network, which is positioning itself as a “golf lifestyle network,” will be exclusively found at channel 262 on DirecTV for now, with its executives hoping to break onto other cable providers in the future. Rashad’s show will be one of several original primetime offerings, another being “Off Par,” a golf and entertainment fused comedy show co-hosted by model Caite Upton, who is best known for her rambling answer while competing in the 2007 Miss Teen USA pageant.

Rashad’s show airs Monday night at 9 p.m. EST.
