'People' mag crowns Sexiest Woman Alive

Mirror mirror on the wall, Kate Upton is the Sexiest Woman of all.

So says People magazine.

The mag crowned the Sports Illustrated model, 22, with the title of "Sexiest Woman" on Thursday night during its first People Magazine Awards show in Beverly Hills.

Hunky Eric Dane, no slouch in the sexy department himself, presented Upton with her award, saying, "There are a lot of reasons why Kate is sexy. Style, career, achievements, sense of humor, personality – oh and did I mention her … looks?"

Upton's sweetie, Justin Verlander, didn't seem to be on hand to help celebrate her sexy award.

But wait, isn't Penelope Cruz the Sexiest Woman Alive? Yes, but that's Esquire's turf.

And don't forget that Eva Longoria snagged the title of Woman of the Year from Maxim.
