USA TODAY's Arienne Thompson digs through the latest celebrity news for highlights ... and lowlights. Think high school yearbook superlatives — if Bill Cosby and Angelina Jolie were classmates.

Musician Solange Knowles (wearing a pre-ceremony ensemble by Stephane Rolland) and her fiance, music video director Alan Ferguson, ride bicycles on the streets of the French Quarter en route to their wedding ceremony at the Marigny Opera House on Nov. 16 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Coolest celebrity wedding – ever

Solange Knowles' wedding went viral last Sunday night when photos from her New Orleans nuptials broke the Internet. The singer, 28, and her director husband Alan Ferguson, 51, hosted plenty of friends and family, including her sister Beyonce, brother-in-law Jay Z and niece Blue Ivy in the Crescent City for a unique celebration. How unique? Well, the bride and groom wore matching white – along with all of their guests – and the happy couple arrived for the ceremony on bicycles. Knowles had several costume changes, including a caped jumpsuit, and staged an artistic bridesmaid portrait that included Beyonce and their mother Tina Knowles. How cool is that?

Entertainer Bill Cosby gestures during an interview about the upcoming exhibit, Conversations: African and African-American Artworks in Dialogue, at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African Art.

Swiftest downfall by an icon

Bill Cosby has been all over the news for the past few weeks as sexual assault accusations continue to mount against the iconic comedian. When an NPR interviewer asked if Cosby had any response to the controversy, Cosby shook his head no, but his lawyer later released a statement, saying Cosby wouldn't dignify "decade-old, discredited" claims of sexual abuse with a response.

Best brush-off

When Lifetime aired its Aaliyah biopic last week, fans went wild online, taking the network to task for issues with the singing, production and casting of the film. Executive producer Wendy Williams wasn't fazed by the criticism, though. On her talk show Monday, she decided to focus on the positive. "I see my Aaliyah movie broke the Internet this weekend!" she exclaimed during the "Hot Topics" segment of her ubiquitous talk show. "Errbody got an opinion. Well, I must tell you, whether you loved or hated, you watched. It was the second-highest-rated movie on all of cable this year so far."

TV talk show host Wendy Williams arrives during the 2014 Soul Train Awards at the Orleans Arena at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Williams, host of the talk show "The Wendy Williams Show," also produced the Lifetime TV film, "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B."
Allison Williams as Peter Pan

Buzziest sneak peek

Allison Williams will make her live TV debut on Dec. 4 as Peter Pan, and finally NBC gives us a sneak peek with some actual singing in it. The teaser shows Christopher Walken committing his dastardly deeds as Captain Hook, and Girls star Williams looking quite convincing as a boy. She sings "I'll never grow up" quite nicely. We can't wait to check it out!

Most awe-inspiring couple – still

Is it even possible to get sick of staring at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie? Didn't think so. The winsome twosome were Down Under for the premiere of her upcoming WWII pic Unbroken. She looked dazzling in a form-fitting lace Gucci gown, while he played the part of dapper and devoted husband in Tom Ford. What a pair!

Actress-director Angelina Jolie, left, her husband actor Brad Pitt, right, with Japanese actor Miyavi and his partner Melody Ishihara pose at the world premiere of 'Unbroken' in Sydney, Australia, Nov. 17. Unbroken is the second film Jolie has directed.
