The list of stars scheduled to arrive on the Broadway stage this year now includes Clive Owen, scheduled to make his bow Sept. 17.

Clive Owen is set to make his Broadway debut.

It was announced Monday that Owen will appear in a new Roundabout Theatre Company production of Harold Pinter's Old Times, due to begin performances then and open Oct. 15. He'll be directed by the Tony Award-winning British stage actor and Pinter authority Douglas Hodge, who can be seen on Showtime's Penny Dreadful.

Owen — a TV presence himself these days for the Cinemax series The Knick — is no theater novice himself. His credits on the London stage include Patrick Marber's Closer; Owen also appeared in the film adaptation of that play, directed by Mike Nichols.
