Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air) is keeping things Casual on Hulu. Fresh off the release of his latest movie Men, Women & Children, Reitman will produce the single camera comedy series Casual to debut on Hulu in 2015. Hulu has given a 10-episode straight-to-series order to the project from Lionsgate Television.

Reitman explores the dysfunctional family once again in the series about a newly divorced sister and single brother sharing a home. Together, they raise a teenager and attempt to coach each other through the world of on- and off-line dating. Reitman has signed on to direct the first episode and executive produce the series. Zander Lehmann will write the series and Reitman's production partner Helen Estabrook will also executive produce the project.

"Jason Reitman uniquely blends comedy and drama in a way that touches the human spirit. We are honored to work with him to bring the next distinctive voice, Zander Lehmann, to television," said Craig Erwich, Senior Vice President and Head of Content of Hulu, in a statement.

Casual is the second big name acquisition from Hulu. In September, the streaming platform gave a straight-to-series order to the J.J. Abrams, Stephen King series 11/22/63 about the Kennedy Assassination.
