Former Clemson Tigers quarterback Chad Kelly was dismissed from the team earlier this season. He recently signed to play at Ole Miss for the 2015 season.

Chad Kelly, the nephew of legendary quarterback Jim Kelly who had signed to play at Ole Miss just last week, was arrested early Sunday morning in Buffalo. He faces several misdemeanor charges for trying to fight nightclub bouncers and police officers after he and a friend refused to leave a bar, according to a police report obtained by the Buffalo News.

Kelly, according to the police report, also said, "I'm going to go to my car and get my AK-47 and spray this place."

Kelly punched a bouncer in the face and had to be forcibly removed from a vehicle once police showed up at the scene and tried to kick and throw punches at police officers, according to the arrest report.

Kelly's lawyer on Monday told The Associated Press he has video evidence that shows his client was not the aggressor. It's "obvious Chad was not the one who started this incident," Thomas Eoannou told the AP.

Eoannou said the video disputes an allegation that Kelly to get an AK47.

"There's no evidence of a threat of an AK in that video," Eoannou told the AP.

Kelly was ranked among the top junior college players in the country this year and was likely to begin the spring at No. 1 on the depth chart at Ole Miss. Earlier this year, he was dismissed from Clemson for various offenses including attitude issues.
