Wide receiver Eric Decker signed a $35 million deal with the Jets the month after playing in the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos, going from the top of the AFC West to the very bottom of the AFC East. Decker posted career highs in receptions (87) and yards (1,228) in 2013, but without Peyton Manning under center, Decker’s production has taken a hit — Decker has yet to record a single 100-yard game in a Jets uniform.

With Denver at 7-3 through the first ten games of the year and in currently in line for a No. 2 seed in the playoffs, Decker told the New York Daily News that it isn’t easy to watch his old team.

Via the New York Daily News:

“Honestly, sometimes it’s hard to watch them when they’re playing. When they’re clicking on all cylinders, they’re a tough football team. They got the right pieces…. Emmanuel Sanders is playing well in my spot, so to speak. Sometimes, you know, it’s tough to see all the success. But that’s football. It’s going to go in swings. Who says we can’t be a great football team? We got to obviously do some right things to get there, but I’m happy for Peyton and Demaryius (Thomas). I respect them so much. They’re all good friends, so I like to see them do well, but sometimes it’s hard.”

At least he’s got that $35 million.
