Honey Boo Boo's parents split

It's a sad day, indeed.

Mama June Shannon and Sugar Bear Thompson, parents of reality show darling Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, have separated.

TMZ reports that Mama June says Sugar Bear has been cheating on her — or trying to, by visiting online dating sites — and now she's ready to take the kids and move out.

We asked TLC, the channel that airs Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, if the news is true, and we received this statement from Mama June:

"Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship. We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y'all for your support."

Seems like just yesterday that the two were exchanging vows in front of their children in their Georgia backyard in a commitment ceremony. (It was May and the two never technically married.)
