Post-race marathoners trying to walk down stairs will make you never want to run a marathon

In this video taken after Sunday’s running of the New York City Marathon, runners try to walk. They struggle to do so. Then they try to descend the stairs to the subway after going 26.2 miles, and they really struggle to do so.

Their legs do not want them to do this. They do not want them to do this at all.

Where are the special escalators, New York? Come on these people just ran for like forever.

(Thanks to the New York Times for sharing.)
