Georgia players make fashion statement with mandatory bowties

The University of Georgia came to SEC Media Days prepared with a fashion statement.

Georgia’s Chris Conley laid down the fashion law at SEC Media Day and made all of the Bulldog players wear bowties for their media appearances.

Linebacker Ramik Wilson’s was black and red striped to match Georgia colors, while Conley had a purple pastel and RB Todd Gurley wore a checkered pattern. Conley wanted the bowties to represent the fact that Georgia was united as a team.

Wilson had a gray tie all ready to go, when Conley informed him he would not be wearing it. He would be wearing the bowtie instead. Check out Wilson’s reaction to the sudden fashion change here:
