UFC champ Jon Jones' 6-year-old daughter trash talks next opponent

Undefeated fighter Daniel Cormier called out UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones at UFC 173 after beating Dan Henderson, warning Jones that he can’t escape an eventual bout.

“Jon Jones, you can’t run away from me forever. I’m the kid at the wrestling tournament that is always in your bracket. No matter where you go boy, I’m coming.”

Alexander Gustafsson was scheduled to face Jones at UFC 178, but Gustafsson was forced to pull out with an injury, meaning Cormier will finally get his chance. Cormier was announced as Gustafsson’s replacement Wednesday, and the confident 35-year-old will meet Jones in September.

Cormier took to Twitter to get his followers’ help in sending a message to Jones. Cormier posted a screenshot of a direct message from Jones,  but since Jones doesn’t follow Cormier on Twitter, Cormier wasn’t able to send a reply. Cormier instead screenshotted a profane retort and asked his followers to spread the word.

“Guys please get this message to @JonnyBones he doesn’t follow me. Didn’t think I followed him. Hes a ninja #newchamp”

It didn’t take long for Jones to respond. In an Instagram video, his daughter promises Cormier a beatdown.

“DC, my dad’s going to beat you up. Guaranteed.”
