A scene out of yet another Jaws sequel? No, this time the attack was almost real.
At a Destin, Fla., beach, there was panic earlier this week as a hammerhead shark encroached on its sting ray prey just feet from several beach-goers.
In a fit of splashes and sprinting, the swimmers run from the water upon calls from bystanders noting the shark's presence.
"When he finally figured out the shark was there, it looked like he walked on water," says Matt Pecoraro, one of the spectators that warned of the approaching predator.
