The Force is with these 'Star Wars' headphones

The Star Wars Boba Fett STREET by 50 On-Ear headphones have a deep forest green body with rust-red ear caps and ivory leather ear cushions.

Just in time for the unoffical Star Wars Day -- and all the buzz in anticipation for the next film in the saga -- SMS Audio is now shipping its limited edition Star Wars headphones.

Available in four different themes -- Boba Fett, Rebel Alliance, Galactic Empire and Stormtrooper -- the headphones ($199.95 each) have foldable hinges above the ear cups to fit into the accompanying carry case. And the foam cushions rest comfortably on the ears and don't feel as if your head has been caught within a sarlaac's grip -- or Darth Vader's Force grip.

The headphones did a very good job of blocking out exterior sound with the passive noise-cancellation technology and reproducing music. And that makes sense because SMS Audio, founded by rapper-actor 50 Cent, the 38-year-old New York native, born Curtis Jackson, has gotten critical raves for its headphones.

Each different model has appropriate color schemes; the Boba Fett model has a deep forest green body with rust-red ear caps and ivory cushions. The ear caps have the bounty hunter's Mandalorian insignia. Each pair of headphones comes with a poster, stickers, cleaning cloth and carrying case.

The Stormtrooper model is black and white, the Rebel Alliance model has orange, white and silver coloring, and the Galactic Empire headphones are Vader black with the red Galactic Empire insignia on the ear caps. To see the other models, visit SMS Audio's site.
