Jimmy Kimmel redid George W. Bush's Jeb endorsement ad, and it's excellent

George W. Bush, left, and Jeb Bush.

George W. Bush inspired more than a few memorable parodies, particularly those from Will Ferrell, and his absence from the political stage since he left office has no doubt been mourned by many comedians.

But Bush returned in a recent ad to tout the “good heart and strong backbone” of his brother and presidential candidate, Jeb Bush.

Days later, Jimmy Kimmel debuted a convincing parody of the ad with a new voiceover from a Dubya impersonator that sounds uncannily like the 43rd president himself. (Is it Ferrell? Maybe, and it’s good.)

“I know Jeb. I know his good heart. It’s inside his body,” Kimmel’s George W. says. “Next to other things. Like his stomach, which is where his snacks go.”

Watch it below, where George touts Jeb because he’s “got a cute little wife and he’s a good little guy.”
