The 5 most underrated commercials of Super Bowl 50

NFL

We’ve shared the five best commercials, as well as the five worst. Now, here are five great ones that we felt were underrated by Ad Meter voters (see all 63 Super Bowl 50 commercials, ranked first-to-worst).

1. NFL, “Super Bowl Babies Choir (featuring Seal)”

Ad Meter score and finish: 5.73 (out of 10), 12th place (out of 63)

You can’t go wrong with Seal singing a parody version of “Kiss from a Rose.”

2. Avocados From Mexico, “Avocados in Space”

Ad Meter score and finish: 5.56, 17th place

Aliens, Scott Baio, a Rubik’s Cube, and guacamole. Sounds like a good party.

3. Coca-Cola, “A Mini Marvel (Hulk vs. Ant-Man)”

Ad Meter score and finish: 5.39, 19th place

When it comes to superheroes, you can’t beat the Hulk. Bonus points for the presence of Paul Rudd, who voices Ant-Man.

4. Skittles, “Portrait”

Ad Meter score and finish: 5.21, 25th place

A painting made out of Skittles that attempts to sing “Dream On” at the same pitch as Steven Tyler. Silly? Absolutely. But funny.

5. Death Wish Coffee, “Storm’s-a-Brewin'”

Ad Meter score and finish: 4.90, 33rd place

The spot for upstart Death Wish, which makes some seriously caffeinated coffee, has a Monty Python crossed with Game of Thrones feel.
