Bruce Pearl, being vintage Bruce Pearl, took some members of the Auburn marching band, senior basketball player KT Harrell and some Auburn cheerleaders into a marketing class to talk about the perfectly named ‘Pearl Jam’ event meant to get students hyped for the upcoming season.

The former Tennessee coach was hired by Auburn earlier this year and faces the huge job of not only turning around the basketball program but drawing fans at a school and in a conference widely focused on football.

“Our team is working really hard to try to make some progress on the court. Together we’re trying to do great things,” Pearl said after simultaneously entertaining and terrifying most of the students in the class.
