There have been a number of classic press-conference rants over the last 15 years (Mike Gundy’s “I’m a man! I’m 40!” and Dennis Green’s “they are who we thought they were!” come to mind), but nothing beats Allen Iverson’s “practice” rant. Basketball writer Steve McPherson decided to teach his daughter Iverson’s lines, and Instagrammed the performance.
This proved to be a tremendous way to spend a morning. Maggie nails it.
