Watch: Scott Eastwood's a chip off the old Western block in 'Diablo' clip

Scott Eastwood runs afoul of Walton Goggins in the Western action movie 'Diablo.'

Maybe he just gets it by hanging out with his dad Clint all these years, but Scott Eastwood just seems pretty darn natural in a cowboy hat and frontier garb in the Western action flick Diablo (in theaters and available on video-on-demand Jan. 8). He's got the right scruff and the stoic nature his pop had as Civil War veteran Jackson, whose wife is kidnapped by a pack of bandits and there's a mission to be had to track her down and bring some bad guys to justice. (This at least gives him the Western cred that getting on a bull didn't quite do in The Longest Ride.)

There'a another natural in Diablo as well: Walton Goggins, who can also been seen in Quentin Tarantino's Hateful Eight starting Christmas day. This exclusive clip from Diablo introduces Eastwood's Jackson to Goggins' evil Ezra, another former soldier who's not letting Jackson pass before getting something out of the deal.
