Greg Hardy's awful rap video surfaces one day before his Cowboys debut

Greg Hardy will return to the NFL Sunday from a four-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the league after he was found guilty of domestic abuse last year, and the controversial defensive end already made headlines earlier this week after making eyebrow-raising comments about Tom Brady’s wife. Just in time for Hardy’s debut with the Cowboys, TMZ published a music video starring Hardy Saturday, which features Hardy dancing with a stripper and rapping explicit lyrics.

Hardy, who goes by the nickname “The Kraken,” recorded the song in 2014 with Memphis rapper Ja-Alan. Short clips of the video emerged last October while Hardy was a member of the Panthers, but the Dallas Morning News found that Ja-Alan posted the full version of the song “I’m Just Me” on YouTube.

“I’m just me. I’m just real, and that’s all that I do.

Up in the booth spittin’ the truth. That’s me with my crew.

I’m just me. I do what I preach. That boy is a beast.”

Hardy’s verse also contains the phrase “crack a [expletive].” You can watch the (NSFW) video here.
