MELBOURNE, Australia — Ronda Rousey's jaw is "fine" and she just needed stitches in her lip at a local hospital,UFC president Dana White posted on Twitter Sunday.

Rousey was kept overnight in a Melbourne hospital as a precaution in the wake of her stunning knockout by Holly Holm in the main event of UFC 193.

Ronda Rousey suffered a shocking knockout at the hands of Holly Holm.

Rousey, an overwhelming favorite going into the contest, saw her undefeated record in mixed martial arts broken when Holm produced a spectacular kick to the head under a minute into the second round.

After the fight, White had confirmed that Rousey was transported to a hospital because "she got knocked out. Her lip was split in half. Obviously she is completely bummed out and depressed, but that is it.”

Sunday afternoon Eastern time, White, in an exchange of tweets with various people, said "her jaw is fine" and then said "she's good, just had to get some stitches in her lip."

Rousey lost after Holm delivered a finishing kick that appeared to knock her out before she hit the canvas at Etihad Stadium.
