Last call! Mötley Crüe is hanging it up after three hard-rocking decades.

They're going to play a farewell tour first, though — 70 shows, with tickets going on sale Friday, starting at $15. Alice Cooper has been slated as the group's opening act. And when they say final, they mean it: The band even signed a legal contract stating that they're breaking up, and the last tour is exactly that, the group said during a press conference Tuesday in Hollywood.

The band — Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee — helped put the hair in metal and the glam in rock. In the 33 years they've been together, they've been to prison, done enough drugs to make Keith Richards jealous, had sexual escapades that would have made Freud blush and trashed their fair share of hotel rooms. And let's not forget the iconic Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson sex tape. Notoriety is hard work.

They've also paid the consequences of hedonism. Sixx even died for a couple of minutes following a heroin overdose in 1987, an event he described in his 2007 book The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star.

As for what they're going to do once they scatter to the winds, Neil plans on getting more involved in the restaurant industry. Sixx will focus on his Sixx:A.M. band. He's also working on a Broadway play and his radio show. Mars, who just moved to Nashville, plans to immerse himself in a solo album. He's also writing a book about himself, which, he jokes, he might write backward, from his death to birth. As for Lee, all he revealed is that he has some big surprises planned. The band will make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel tonight to talk details.

They've sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and released nine albums, making them one of the most successful heavy metal bands in music history.
