Kyle Chandler spars with 'little man' DiCaprio (video)

The Wolf of Wall Street proves that Kyle Chandler can throw down the improvisation cut down with the best of them.

Chandler, forever known as Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights, had to immediately get into a mental scrap on his first day of Wolf shooting with Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese.

Chandler plays an earnest, smart FBI agent on the trail of corrupt stockbroker Jordan Belfort (DiCaprio) in the Best-Picture nominated film.

This exclusive extra from the Blu-Ray/DVD release (March 25, on digital March 18) shows just how the two sniff each other out on Belfort's glorious yacht (with a clear view of the helicopter). Chandler's agent, Patrick Denham, is not intimidated.

"First day on the boat, I haven't even met with DiCaprio," says Chandler. But the actor points out that DiCaprio made him comfortable enough so that they "just play" during the improvisational scenes.

And Chandler was clearly comfortable enough to call DiCaprio's Belfort "little man" during the increasingly tense exchange.

DiCaprio calls the improvisation an "incredible scene" that is "one of the most important ones in the entire movie."
