And the next 'Bachelor' is ...

He didn't win Desiree's heart, but he won the job of 'Bachelor' for next season.

"In the history of this show, no guy has made a greater impact with less screen time," said Chris Harrison on Monday's After the Final Rose, post-Bachelorette finale show, than Juan Pablo Galavis, 32.

"He is so sensual and charming," said Desiree Hartsock at one point during the season. "Just his accent alone is sexy. He is like a dream of a man."

And now he's the new Bachelor!

Juan Pablo was born in New York and grew up in Venezuela, where he played soccer. He moved to Miami and found out he was going to be a father. Daughter Camila was born in February 2009, but Juan Pablo and her mom "moved on."

Now, he says, he's "ready" to find his future wife and stepmom for Camila.

If the shrieking in the live audience is any indication, ratings might see a boost next season.
