LOS ANGELES -- You know those TV Guide like channel guides on your cable dial that show hundreds of channel and what's on?

Nick Grouf wanted to create one just like it for Internet entertainment, and rounded up several Hollywood heavyweights to help him see his dream become reality. Grouf's Pluto.tv, a website and app for Apple and Android, launches today.

The app aims to bring all those online viral videos, comedy shows, surf and skate clips into one place, and make it easier to find them. So instead of searching through Funny or Die, YouTube and other sites, Pluto.TV has curated channels with their content right there.

Pluto promises over 100 programmed channels, including comedy, sports, surf, music videos and how-to videos.

Investors include former Warner Bros. and Yahoo CEO Terry Semel, high-powered Hollywood super agent Jeremy Zimmer, the CEO of United Talent Agency and Jeremy Welt, a senior vice-president of YouTube production company, Maker Studios.
