In any case, Pirlo was seen in the stands during New York City Football Club’s (the team Pirlo has been heavily linked with joining) rivalry game against the New York Red Bulls, and at one point cameras clipped to Pirlo just as he was engaged in an intimate moment with his girlfriend.
The official MLS Twitter account retroactively fit it into a rivalry week “kiss cam”
Unfortunately for Pirlo and NYCFC, the romantic moment didn’t last for very long. The game tied at 1-1 at the moment of the kiss, the New York Red Bulls went on to win the game 3-1.
