TV tonight: 'NCIS: Los Angeles'

Robert Bianco
USA TODAY
'NCIS: Los Angeles' team boss Hetty (Linda Hunt) is small of stature but big on gravitas.

NCIS: Los Angeles |CBS, 9 ET/PT

Rescue Me's Andrea Roth guests on this repeat of the CBS procedural hit as a mysterious woman with ties to Hetty's past – ties that cause Callen to question some of Hetty's motivations and decisions. Excuse me, Callen, but Linda Hunt's Hetty is the best thing your show has going. Do not annoy her.

Person of Interest |CBS, 10 ET/PT

Those who remember the 1950 film noir classic DOA (or the 1988 Dennis Quaid/Meg Ryan remake) will immediately recognize the plot of this strong, emotionally resonant Person of Interest repeat. This time, the number spewed out belongs to a famous, driven doctor (Dennis Boutsikaris), but before Reese can get to him, the doctor is given a deadly poison that leaves him with 24 hours to live. Reese must now find the man's soon-to-be murderer, while Carter must decide whether Fusco, who's being pursued by the Internal Affairs Bureau, is worth rescuing. The plots don't exactly intersect, but they do complement each other in sometimes surprising ways.

We're the Fugawis |History, 10 ET/PT

What has Duck Dynasty wrought? Yet another reality-com, this one following what History promises will be "the hilarious misadventures" of "Mudflap," "Medicine Man," "Wise One," "Tommy Gunz," "Holeshot," "Old Timer" and the other members of an Upstate New York motorcycle club. Sounds like it will be closer in spirit to The Big Bang Theory, which is airing opposite in repeat over on TBS, than it will be to Sons of Anarchy. It also sounds like you'd be better off watching The Big Bang Theory.
