What do you say? Is this lineup fantastic? Or not?

After a long search, Miles Teller, Jamie Bell, Michael B. Jordan and Kate Mara are said to be working on deals to star in the reboot of Marvel's Fantastic Four, reports Deadline.

But the deals aren't done yet. The Hollywood Reporter says Fox is "in the final stages" of cementing them.

The roles as they stand would be Jordan as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch), Teller as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Mara as Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman) and Bell as Ben Grimm (the Thing).

USA TODAY's Bryan Alexander spoke to Jordan in May at the Cannes film festival about the possibility of a black actor playing Johnny Storm, as the buzz was building back then.

"Things change and time goes on, it's 2013 right now. The characteristics of the Human Torch are: His name is Johnny Storm, he's charismatic, and he's a playboy. That's it. You know what I'm saying? That's all there is."

Chris Evans played the role most recently, in 2005's Fantastic Four and 2007's Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, both directed by Tim Story.

At the time, Jordan said, "It's something that if it happened I would be ecstatic. I'd love to be a part of it." He added, "I get a lot of support and a lot of love from comic-book geeks. I love it."

The latest script is from X-Men: Days of Future Past scribe Simon Kinberg. The film is slated for release in June 2015.
