Brazil pulls a Mighty Ducks, changes uniforms at halftime

Leading South Africa 2-0 at halftime of a friendly in Johannesburg, the Brazilian national team switched its jerseys from yellow to blue, seemingly a premeditated way of unveiling the road jersey.

The uniform change sparked the 2014 World Cup hosts even further, as they’d go on to win 5-0 behind a hat trick from Neymar.

Unlike the scrappy, underdog Mighty Ducks, Brazil is loaded with superstars. We don’t imagine Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari had to give the same sort of impassioned speech that Gordon Bombay did during intermission against Iceland in D2: The Mighty Ducks.
