Paul George won his first fishing tournament and now he's 'hooked' on fishing

If you didn’t know, Pacers guard Paul George loves to fish. Loves it. Sometimes he takes his teammates out on the water to bond with them and talk about things. Like switching on pick and rolls and spacing and stuff like that. Probably.

But recently, George won his first fishing competition, and I’m not saying basketball should worry because he’s found a new love in competitive fishing, but he did say that he’s “hooked” now, so I’m not not saying that.

“Won my first tournament last night with my bro @wheelerfishing.. These things are pretty intense but I’m hooked now.. Love the competition!”

Apparently, to win this competition, George dragged in an impressive haul of fish.

From the Washington Post:

“George entered alongside his friend Jacob Wheeler, who together with George caught 20.17 pounds of fish, the biggest of which was a 5.49-pound big bass caught by George.”
