Desiree Heartsock promised us in May that there would be "drama" and "tears" on this season of The Bachelorette. And on Monday's episode there were plenty of both, as Brooks Forester, the guy Des seemed to be really falling for, decided to leave because he just wasn't feeling it.

"We've really never had that situation at the end of the show," said Chris Harrison on Good Morning America this morning, teasing next week's finale. "It's usually happy, happy. Here's the final two guys. Who's she going to marry?"

In a sneak peek at the finale, we see a teary Des say: "It throws everything off, having Brooks gone."

Harrison says Des sat on the dock "for a good half hour" crying over Brooks' confession. He has been a front-runner for her from early on and seemed to be the one she would have picked. "Obviously she would have," Harrison said on GMA. "We pick up next week with what's she going to do?"

Next week is a two-hour show, followed by a live edition of After the Final Rose where all three of the final men will be there to chat along with Desiree.

In a new interview with People, Des was again asked if she could say if she is happy or if she has found love. Her answer: "I am content in my life. I feel good about where I'm at."

Meanwhile, it's interesting that Reality Steve, the main go-to guy for all Bachelor and Bachelorette spoilers has been saying Brooks is Des' pick this season. So, is he wrong?
