Winnipeg Jets fans had plenty of time to prepare for this.

After all, it had been 19 years since the former Jets last played a playoff game in the city before bolting for the desert in Arizona.

The current Jets, the former Atlanta Thrashers, made the playoffs this season for the first time since the NHL returned to the city in 2011.

That brought a return to the 1980s and 1990s whiteout – and fans were ready.

Of course, the Anaheim Ducks were party poopers by pointing out that not everyone was wearing white.
