Proof that Peyton Manning is the most dominant QB in the NFL

At the midway point of the regular season, it’s pretty clear that Peyton Manning is having a special year. He has the Broncos sitting at 7-1 and he’s the MVP front-runner. He’s picking apart defenses and putting up ridiculous numbers week-in and week-out. And his performance is all the more impressive when you look at his numbers relative to every other quarterback in the league.

He leads the league in passing yards.

… in passing touchdowns.

… and in passer rating.

And he leads all three categories by a comfortable margin.

If Peyton continues at this rate, he’ll be entering his name into the discussion for the most dominant season by a quarterback ever. He’s currently on pace to finish the season with 58 touchdowns and 5,838 yards, both of which would be single-season records.
