Friends,

I have been re-reading some old Christmas romance favorites and some new ones. I devoured Sarah Morgan's Sleigh Bells in the Snow and A Seaside Christmas by my buddy Susan Donovan and several other fab authors, and then I plan to get a little naughty with the Heating Up the Holidays anthology with Lisa Renee Jones, Mary Ann Rivers, and Serena Bell. And then, I'm saving some old favorites for a special re-read, namely the His for the Holidays anthology with LB Gregg, Harper Fox, Z.A. Maxfield, and Josh Lanyon. What are you reading for the holidays?

Oh my. The trailer for Blackmailed into the Billionaire's Bed by Jan Bowles grabs with the first, hard-edged down strum of the guitar on the soundtrack. This is a slick, sexy, contemporary video from the music, to the script, to the font and images. It is a cohesive package that perfectly suits this edgy, suspenseful, erotic romance. I loved it.

There was something in the utter simplicity of the trailer for An Untitled Lady by Nicky Penttila that spoke to me. Nicky stuck to classic fonts and images for this historical romance, the narration in that British accent that I adore, and a few well-chosen reviews. It all adds up to a lovely, gentle video that echoes the book it promotes. Huzzah! (Did I get that right?)

I don't know about you, but I'm looking for a little zombie fix to tide me over until The Walking Dead returns in the spring, and the trailer for PJ Schnyder's London Undead series fits the bill. This trailer is high quality with creepy cemeteries, the undead, hotties firing guns, and London as the setting. The narrator's voice is a dream, and I would love to hear her do the audio book version.

If you have a book trailer that you would like for me to feature in this column, send the link to robin@robincovingtonromance.com. Any subgenre is fine as long as it is a romance! Please make sure that your video uses properly licensed images, music and other media.
