Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is not only one of baseball’s best players, but also one of its very weirdest. And Beltre, who seems to have a pretty good sense of humor even about his strange head-touching thing, had an incredible response to breaking his bat three times against Angels pitcher Garrett Richards on Friday.

This is so awesome. From the OC Register:

Garrett Richards came into the Angels’ clubhouse proudly holding a piece of paper Saturday afternoon. Texas third baseman Adrian Beltre had sent him an invoice for $300 after Richards broke three of his bats Friday night.

It was a real invoice, like Beltre went to an office-supply store and bought a pack of them or something. “Cash only, no checks,” he wrote above his signature.

Adrian Beltre couldn’t possibly rule any harder.
