Speedskater Olga Graf became Russia’s first Olympic medalist on Sunday when she set a personal best in front of a hometown crowd to earn a surprise bronze medal in the women’s 3,000.

As Graf took her victory lap around the Adler Arena Skating Center, waving to fans who had helped propel her to the race of her life, she unzipped her skin-tight racing suit all the way down to her bully button. In the excitement of the moment, Graf had forgotten she wasn’t wearing anything underneath.

Upon realizing her near-wardrobe malfunction, Graf blushed and quickly zipped up her suit without any major embarrassment. Janet Jackson, she was not.

The medalist spoke about her minor mistake after the race.

“I totally forgot. We have very good suits and they are very tight. … You just want to breathe and you want to take off your suit. […]

“Only afterward did I realize that maybe this video will appear on YouTube. But I don’t think it will be so bad.”
