If you saw my recent list of favorite TV shows from the last 25 years, then you know I'm a huge Twin Peaks fan. I watched tons of TV when I was a kid, but Peaks was the first series that became an absolute obsession.

The fandom continues to this day, and I'm always excited to come across Peaks-related news or projects from former cast members. If you feel the same way about the David Lynch drama, I highly recommend you bookmark Welcome to Twin Peaks.

The fan site has been going strong for a couple years, chronicling all Peaks-esque happenings and even giving us a heads-up when cool items related to the show pop up on eBay.

In recent weeks, it has delighted me with this photo project, in which fans submit pics that combine the iconic image from the series' opening credits with a road/scene in their town.

To see the photos, you can visit the site or search the hashtag #welcometotwinpeaks on Twitter. (The site tweets at @ThatsOurWaldo.) To participate, instructions and a printable image can be found here.

I know it's a simple concept, but every day I smile when I see one of these photos on Twitter, so I thought I'd pass along the joy. The only thing that might make me happier is having coffee and pie with Kyle McLachlan ...
