Antonio Cromartie says Odell Beckham Jr. is a 'one-year wonder'

New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie made an appearance on ESPN’s SportsNation Friday and said that Dez Bryant, Antonio Brown and Calvin Johnson are the three best wide receivers in the league.

Cromartie wasn’t as complimentary of Giants star Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham Jr. set an NFL record for most receiving in his first 16 games with 1,612 yards, catching 14 touchdowns in that span. According to Cromartie, though, Beckham Jr. hasn’t yet proven he can maintain that level of production.

“I need to see it on an every-game basis. Not him getting penalties or something like that, or sucker-punching somebody. I think it’s all about how you carry yourself throughout your whole entire career. He’s very young. Has he had a productive year over 16 games? Yes. He’s had the most production than any receiver I’ve seen in 16 games since Randy Moss. But you have to do it week in and week out, and depend on that person no matter if you’re getting double or triple teamed. Randy Moss didn’t complain when he got triple or double teamed.”
